Hi,
It's impossible to access a TS server or a WinXPpro workstation in terminal service through a pptp VPN with the 5.6u4 version.
After reading some previous topics, I tried to install http://www.vd-steen.com/files/e-smith-56-pptp-fix-0.1-1.noarch.rpm.
It didn't fix anything (for me).
Is there a solution to fix ( really..) the pptp problems in that version ?
Thanks

when i installed 5.6 it wrecked my vpn
i went back to 5.5
if you can, go back to 5.5 and put the latest update on it, update 6 i believe
it should work, i can ts to my win2k box from home via vpn with no problems

Zenon,
There are others who have the same problem and with a stable VPN in general (using 5.6U4). Unfortunately there is no good understanding yet of what is happening, so obviously there is not a 'fix' yet.
I must sy I'm thinking about adding IPCop in front of my servers to deal with VPN, IPSEC matters rather then SME.

Install portforwarding on e-smith and forward to your XP Pro PC. It works much faster than VPN.
