Title: Intel Pro/100 S Adapters
Post by: Neil on May 16, 2001, 12:00:35 AM
This new Intel adapter line (based on Intel 82550 controller) is not listed in your supported ethernet adapter page, nor is it listed in Redhat's hardware list. The Intel web site Tech Overview for this adapter family indicates driver support for Linux 2.2.5 or later. If I wanted to use this adapter in my current E-smith 4.1 server installation could I use the drivers supplied by Intel with the card?
I am specifically refering to the Intel Pro/100 S Server Adapter.
Thanks,
