Why? Would you rather have the Microsoft sliding release dates?

But even if you knew the next release date, you'd still be better off continuing to use the previous release for your production environment until the new release has been tested by the comunity.

I have been using SME (e-smith since it first came out) all i am saying that whenever someone has asked this question in the past MITEL doesnt share that info with us only when it happens then we shall no!

I thought this was about SME 6.0 release date so where did Micro$oft come into!

I'd just as soon see a 5.6.1 release, or perhaps a 5.7 with updates to packages such as PHP and MySQL.  SME is a terrific platform for LAMP applications ("Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP").

Please post a recent photo of yourself, medical details, a full financial accounting including account locations and numbers, and a 2,000 word essay on how you would best serve your "Mitel Masters". Your application will then be taken under review and you'll be contacted if accepted. Respondents must be willing to relocate to the SE Ontario at their own cost. Any and all rights including those detailed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms are specifically waived. Applicants fluent in English and French as well as exhibiting large secondary sexual characteristics and demonstrating skill at preparing hot, tasty, nutritious meals at odd hours are preferred.

After a suitable "break-in" period the SMS 6.0 release date *may* be divulged to you.

I expect the answer is "when it's done."
