Hi,
I am having problem setting dydns.org Dyamic DNS service.
I am running SME5.6 unsupported version, which the SERVICELINK is not working on the server-manager configuration panel.
I have a account with dydns.org which is "mydomain.dydns.org", my IP is constantly changing (I am using a always-on ADSL line which the service provider rotates the dyamic IP once every half an hour).
Please teach me how to setup the SME 5.6 so that it automatically updates the ip address to dydns.org database once the ip is changed.
Thanks so much!

Setting up your Dynamic DNS service is part of the install (or configuration) settings (this is also true for the 'free' version).
As you have already installed, log on to the console and select item 2. Configure this Server to change your settings and at the 'Select Dynamic DNS Service' page select www.dyndns.org and you will be asked to supply your account name and password.
After completing the changes it should all be setup for you.
Details are in the Manual.

Who do you have your service thru. I have never heard of a ISP rotating an ip every half hour. If it is avaliable I suggest changing services. I use bellsouth and my ip only changes when I logout or am disconected. Bellsouth will also be offering static ips soon for around $15.00 more a month.

This I believe is not tue for "Server Only" setups where the DYNDNS setting is not presented.
