It is possible to downgrade my IMAP server? I'm using SME 5.6, I need to downgrade because of the email duplication issue after you've opened your webmail.

I had the same problem, and fixed it using courier imap instead of the one installed on 5.6. I noticed that they have switched imap packages on the beta 6. There are real good instructions at www.neddix.de on installing courier on 5.6. Hope this helps out.

Thanks Brad, we already have mailboxes do i have to convert mailbox patches, I'm using 5.6 but in neddix.de instruction is only for 5.1.2 and 5.5.
Thanks

There are instructions for converting mailboxes on their site. It is under the 5.12 steps I believe. But they have the courier upgrade for 5.6.....and you just use the instructions for converting your mailboxes from the 5.12 instructions. It worked....because I used them on my 5.6 box with 100+ users....and don't really remember having any problems. Just make a backup....and there are instructions on their site for going back to the default imap server if you have problems with or do not like courier.

Hi Brad, before i'll proceed, what is the difference of this IMAP server to the old IMAP of sme 5.6 except for downloading issue and SSL support...
Regards..

Can't say that I have a real good answer other than its just a different imap server. I do know that quite a few people on here use it. If you use Dan Brown's horde/imp 3.2.1, there is something that you have to change. But if you use the version of horde/imp that is default on 5.6, you shouldn't have to change anything on horde/imp....I don't think. Or you could just hold out and wait for version 6. Sounds like they fixed the problem that you are having.

No, the stock horde/IMP will also need changes to the servers.php file. I'm pretty sure I posted a sample before; a search on servers.php should find it.
