Has anyone tried installing AntiVir's Webgate?
http://www.hbedv.com/produkte/internet/webgate.htm
AntiVir WebGate is available for Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD
SECURITY FOR WEB CONNECTIONS
Every time you dial up to the internet, you run the risk of digital pests finding their way onto your system. AntiVir WebGate offers a solution to this problem: it intervenes in the data transfer process, does an on-access scan of the data received from the internet and only allows it to proceed if 100% virus-free. Besides downloads, it also checks emails and attachments called via a Webmail account.
SIMPLE, CLEAR AND CONVENIENT
AntiVir WebGate is installed - depending on loading capacity - either between the internet and proxy server, between the proxy server and clients or without a proxy server. Integration into the existing system couldn't be easier, and requires no major changes to the configuration of your proxy or browser. The program is updated automatically so that you always have the latest version at your disposal. All actions and reactions are recorded in a LOG file. The graphic user interface is extremely clear and tells you at a glance the current memory load, number of existing connections, volume of scanned files and the last three lines from the LOG.
Functions of AntiVir WebGate:
On-access scanner
Checking of all downloaded data
Checking of POP-3 emails and attachments via Webmail accounts (only with unencrypted data transfer)
Automatic online updating
Heuristic macro virus detection
Comprehensive logging, warning and notification functions
Sending of virus alerts
Generation of LOG messages
Graphic user interface
Sounds like a great product, bit expensive though, but downloadable in demo mode.

Looks great, but have you seen the prices !!!!
If you compare this to RAV who had per server licence (or per domain), if you have 400 users it's gonna cost a fortune !!

AntiVir's email scanner is free for linux, this particular product monitors http/ftp/mail/etc which is good because then it stops people from getting html exploits just from browsing the net, Jaco has made a great howto for AntiVir's FREE email scnning product http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=17728.msg69307#msg69307
