Title: FlexBackup Confusion
Post by: Dave D on June 27, 2003, 01:03:13 AM
Hi again.

I am confused by some things that I see in the Adv. Backup/Restore Panel in the server manager.

Here is an edited  paste:

Currently your configuration and data files total approximately 1Mb.
hmmmm???

[Tape para]
Currently your hard disk contains 0kb of data..  ????

df -h returns:
Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/md1               37G   13G   23G  35% /
/dev/md0               97M  8.6M   83M  10% /boot
none                  109M     0  109M   0% /dev/shm

I am confused.  Where are the size values taken from ?

Dave

Hi Again Dave,

I've been switching most servers (as and when I get a chance to that is ! :) ) to Shad Lord's arkeia backup contrib (contribs.org). The Interface takes some getting used to, but once you do, it is a far, FAR, cry from stumbling around with flexbackup. It's a damn sight quicker too for restores !

Just a suggestion.
