Title: Why ASSP Antispam?

Hi,

what/why do we choose assp anti spam proxy??? why not the others? how powerful the program is?

Why shd we need to integrate with SME server?

It's fairly comprehensive with fairly low maintenance.  See http:assp.sourceforge.net and my howto at http://www.sonoracomm.com/sonoracomm/pdf/ASSP_HOWTO.pdf.  It's nearing version 1.0 and has had a LOT of work on it lately.

You might want to look at Darrell May's DSBL contrib at http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dmay/mitel/contrib/dsbl/.  This is a far simpler tool that's super-easy to install and cuts out a good chunk of your spam.

Good question.  ASSP has its own web configuration page with pretty fair help.  I guess it would be nice to integrate it with SME Server-Manager, but...

DSBL needs no integration.

It's not actually Darrell's contrib - it's mine, repackaged (I'm not sure why) by Darrell.
