Title: Help to install GCC on 5.6

I am looking for an RPM to install GCC on my SME 5.6 box.
Can“t find all the RPMs on rpmfind.net with the same version numer :(
Can someone help me out here. Thanks.

Search on contribs.org for "dev-tools"

If anybody is intested in my 2 cents worth, I wouldn't install gcc on a production server.  Once a root kit is installed a cracker wll often recompile binaries the emulate legitmate programs etc.

If you need to compile programs and install them on the e-smith server, do it on another computer and copy them over.

That's exactly why we don't install gcc etc.

A box running RedHat 7.3 is recommended. But make life easy for yourself, and search rpmfind.net first.
