Title: missing attachments when sending email by smtp/Outlook
Post by: alejanndro lengua on August 02, 2003, 03:15:33 AM
I have this problem:

When  a user sends emails with attachments using an email client (no webmail).
The message arrives but without the attachment.

Any idea?

I am using SME 5.6 with the secure email patch installed.

Try another e-mail client on the receiving end. If the attachment comes in, then what version of Lookout are you using ?

The later versions of Lookout defaults to blocking attachments with "unsafe" extensions. You can patch the registry to allow selected file types to come in as attachments.

If not, please post more info.
