Hi,

Does anyone howto the nightspirit contrib - e-smith-PDF-printer @ http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/nightspirit/e-smith-PDF-printer, please advise.

Hello Daley,

try this one:

if you want to, I will send you a .zip - file where all files needed are included (39 MB). All you need to do is to create an i-bay called "pdfdrop" and make it accessible to all users. Everything else is taken care of by an installation script. On Win - boxes you will have to connect the e-smith pdf printer as an Apple Color Laser (driver is incluede in all Win - Versions).

It works fine on 5.6 and 6.0beta2.

Thank you, then, what is the ibay permission for the "pdfdrop"?

however, there is one additional contrib "e-smith-pdf-printer-1.0-2.noarch.rpm" located at the nightspirit, any different?

Hi Daley,

of course color printing depends on the printer driver used under Windows. The Apple Color Laser Driver is able to print colors (as the driver name already says). Mayby you wish to contact me under following e-Mail adress: mailto:mathias.wernich@tubeIT.de

Which model of Apple printer? why not HP?

http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=18153.msg71188#msg71188 if you like to use an HP printer driver, make sure you use a ps - driver, not pcl.
