Does anyone know if SME 6.0 beta 3 supports 2 hard drives in raid 0 as yet
-
To my knowledge, no version of SME supports a RAID 0 configuration, nor is it likely to--there's no redundancy, and one drive failure will kill the whole array.

Sorry meant Raid 1(mirror) A little bit of backgroud info
I have just finished installing SME 6 beta 3, with 2 60 gig seagate drives, to see if mirror works, This is on a Gigabyte 8KNXP motherboard, no driver available as yet for the onboard raid controller, so using the 2 drive raid install of SME, This seems to work, but will know for sure when I change out a drive in the next day or 2.
Another problem with this motherboard is the Intel Lan controller 82547EI (Gigabit)
is also not recognised by SME 6, It would be good if these drivers could be included in a upgrade patch.

In that case, all I can say is that it should support it, and if it doesn't, it's a bug. 5.6 does without a problem; my server is running that way at the moment.

I seem to recall that there is an issue with seagate drives in software raid - something aabout syncing on start - search the forums.
cheers
