I have recently installed backup2ws but the maximum expirey is 7, I would like to do about a 1 moth turn around so I would like to have about a 31 day turn around, does anyone have a clue of how to do this?

This feature is not in the program by default.
An easy workaround is to set up the same backup job for each day of the week and then set each day to retain 4 copies. That will give you a total of 4 weeks of backups, alter to suit your needs to a maximum of 7 weeks of retained data.

e-smith ftp site is no longer operating. You will have to use a mirror site, see the e-smith.org downloads page that refers to these.
