Title: Adding people to admin group?
Post by: Ryan Hemphill on September 03, 2003, 10:03:43 AM
Does anyone know if you are running, SME as a domain controller. If there is a way to add users to a " domain admin" group?

Hi Ryan,

You need to create a custom template here:

/etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/smb.conf/11domainAdminGroup

The default contents of this template are:
domain admin group = admin

You can add other accounts separated by commas.  You can also add a group name preceded by an "@", then add accouts to that group to give them domain admin privilages.

Hope this helps,

Alan--
