Title: Scheduleing External FTP
Post by: Jan on September 22, 2003, 12:06:11 PM
Hello,

I was wondering if someone has done this already. I want external FTP access restricted to certain hours of the day. To be more precise from 01.00-08.00 hours. I assume this could be achieved .... cron job.... something or other.

I have no idea where to start what to do and such but would really appreciate any help and or advise you can provide.

With kind regards,

Jan

You maybe can create a CRON that do a Service FTPd start and another CRON for a FTPd stop ?

Or if it's only to block/allow external access, you could create a IPTABLES rule that do it ... ?
