Hi list,
Is there anyway of stopping Pseudonym creation each time a new user is created? And also stopping them from being re-created each time a change is made to a user?
SME 5.5 Update 6
Thanks in advance,

.. checkout update-user-pseudonyms in /etc/e-smith/events/actions
Remember backup the file first, edit with pico, and make sure the perms of the new version of the file are identical to the orig. Also remember that your modified version may be replaced by an update at any time so document your change.

Why do you want to stop them being created? Why not just ignore the fact that they exist?
If you really want to stop them being created, you'll need to find and remove the code which creates them.

I dont use them. Thats why!! And if I dont use them I dont think they should be there.
I think that Mitel should make it possible to check this feature on and off AND change how they should be made. I know many who would appriciate a feature like that!
But is it possible to disable the pseudonyms in a simple way??

Fine. They won't hurt you.

And *I* think that *you* should write that code and donate it to Mitel (and the world). That'd be fair, wouldn't it?
