Is anyone using a Epson Stylus Photo 750, or other multiported printer through the USB port that needs a command sent to activate the USB port? If so how did you do it? This printer comes with 3 ports a parallel port, an USB port or a MacIntosh. A command must be sent before it will print to the USB port because Parallel is the default. There are no physical switches that I can find. Looked around with google and this problem is mentioned but no real explaination for a n00bie like me. There is supposed to be a way to send a command through Ghostscript but I can't find an explaination of the process.
TIA Brian
p.s. using E-Smith/SME Server 5.6u4.

I've got the ESP750 using USB running on a IBM Intellistation dual PII
400. I just plug it in and set up the printer and Voila print server
works.

Ok Thanks, I have done some research and I read that you had to send a command to the printer to accept data on the USB port instead of the Parallel or ApplePort.
