Title: special characters on fetchmail username

I was trying to retrieve mails with fechtchmail but the username is  "server\mailboxname"   (is an ms exchange mailbox)    and the mailbox is "mailboxname@externaldomain"    I in found in the mail logs that there is an auth failure and say servermailboxname as username...   "\" desapear...
I suppose there is a problem with the character "\"   how I can replace it or   simulate.

I need help! please !!     (isp can´t or don´t want change nothing on his config...     of course...)

Have you tried the double backslash instead of one ? The backslash is used in to tell unix that the next character is to be taken litterally.
