Hey ppl.
Moregroupware is up to version 0.6.9
And I want to install it.
When going through the setup, it checks for a whole bunch of things it needs. Now it's giving me a error, and I would like some help on how to fix.....
"
The ctype PHP extension needs to be installed.
The ctype PHP extension is needed to run more.groupware. We try to use only common modules, so there is a good chance that the needed extension is available as a precompiled module for you system. You probably only need to install and activate it.
"
That is the error that I get. Has anyone else come across this or have someone already install this moregroupware version??
Thanks

I have looked at egroupware.
I do not think it's approriate as moregroupware in a school.
Plus it does not have a webmail.
Which was another one of the reasons I was wanting to get moregroupware on.
I only need to know what the go is with the ctype php extension.

Take a look at the link below you might find something more in line with what you need

That's all very good and nice, but I want groupware.
I've seen alot of groupware packages.......
I've been less than impressed about some of the so called 'help' on these forums.
All I want is a extension enabled. I l ooked through php.ini and couldn't find anything there.
Or can someone tell me where I can get updated php rpms for e-smith 6b3?
Thanks

Just just installed a whole bunch of commands. But moregroupware has gone down hill.
Wasn't as goo as it used to be......
Trying egroupware, install chucks you from one install screen to the other......it's nastey.
And theirs no documentation, like all through it, it's just missing big chunks.
It's @!#$
