Title: Recreated account, now can't activate it...

I followed the posted advice on recreating a previously deleted account, which worked fine, but now I appear unable to set the password of the account and activate it.

The line in /etc/passwd reads:

link:x:5001:5001:bucks gaylink:/home/e-smith/files/users/link:/bin/sshell

while in /home/e-smith/accounts it reads:

link=user|City|Milton Keynes|Company|Q:space|Dept||EmailForward|local|FirstName|*|ForwardAddress||Gid|5001|LastName|gaylink|PasswordSet|no|Phone|*|Street|*|Uid|5001

Setting the user password in server-manager simply results in a blank screen, and none of the files are amended.

Anyone got any ideas? Alternatively, if this has been previously answered, could someone point me in the right direction? The only thing I could find was http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=18708.msg73758#msg73758

The following appears in the HTTPD Admin Error Log:

Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith/Form
Magick/Panel/useraccounts.pm line 601.
Failed to add entry for user link.
Failed to modify password entry for user link
Failed to set Samba password for account link.
Child exited early. at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith/util.pm line 908.

Is there an error that appears in the log before the one you mention above?
