Title: Not ready for version 6, but time for some upgrades anyhow
Post by: Michael Smith on November 12, 2003, 08:45:52 AM
Anyone have any experiences to report with upgrading MySQL via this thread:

http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=18597.msg73146#msg73146

and/or upgrading Horde/IMP/PHP via this HOWTO:

Comments and advice welcomed.   I'm specifically doing this to keep up with the requirements of InfoCentral (http://www.infocentral.org) which requires MySQL 4.0 to function correctly.

I've been running with e-smithj 6beta3 with MySQL 4.0.1x (never installed the MySQL devel package) and DanBrowns PHPs and Horde packages and they all worked fine for me...

To get the kronolith work don't forget to run

# pear install Date

Good luck.
