Hi all,
the former e-smith forums are now hosted by contribs.org.
These forums will be as they are for a bit, until we can provide you with a maybe more suiteable mechanism.
Thanks, and please do continue to post all of your 'issues'.

Right now there are two forums on contribs.org. The PHP based contribs.org forums and these Phorum based e-smith forums.
IMHO we should drop completely the PHP based contribs.org forums and focus on one forum engine only, this one, as it has the most valuable history. I do not want to monitor two separate forum engines. Possibly others may feel the same.
Also I would suggest the links to all forums (as they were previously when they resided on e-smith.org) be added in the footer of ever forum page to add in navigation between forums. Makes it easier to not have to go back to the home page to change forums.
Regards,
Darrell

PS. I like the choice of Threaded View and Flat View as viewing options. I personally prefer the flat view for reading a thread. Much easier :-)

Thanks Michael, Darrell,
we'll get into your suggestions.

Yes, congrats on a great Job.
I agree with Darrell that we should just keep this forum instead of having two.
Looking forward to seeing how this will develop :-))
Kind Regards

Great job!
Is any way to sort the articles to show ones with new posts on the top?

Just a note of thanks for the effort that is being put into the transition, I noted that there is no "the sky is falling" attitude with the e-smith product and this is viewed as a great opportunity. This is refreshing to see.
Thanks to all involved and keep up the great work.
Regards,
Gavin
P.S. I'll try to put in some constructive input next time.

Thanks to all at contribs.org for keeping this forum going. It has been a great resourse in the past and thanks to you it will continue. This is truley a case of when "one door closes another one opens".
Thanks for your efforts!
