Title: join 2003 domain

how can I setup 5.6 to log into a 2003 server so users can access the shares on the sme server?

There is a install.sh script on the official HowTo second on www.e-smith.org site.....

You just edit about 4 lines and run the script, and it's all good....the SME Server will join the domain and when users try to access shares on SME it will authenticate off the 2003 server first....

I think it's harder when you want to configure more permissions though....

Could you provide a link to the HowTo...I've looked high and low and can't find it on www.e-smith.org.  I even google searched the site to no avail.

hi I found the script, thanx, but when i run it  I get NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. any ideas?

Are you using the Administrator for the Domain to join??

yes i am, i have also tried a user that has administrator priv.
