Title: pop3s, imaps, and smtps
Post by: mike on December 19, 2003, 09:38:54 PM
Has anyone set up pop3s, imaps, and smtps on SME 6.0 successfully? If so, can we share your experience?

Thanks so much.

I too am very interested in getting this functionality enabled for 6.0.  I'd be happy to test.

How to enable pop3s, imaps and smtps on SME 6.0 using the standard ports and the existing SSL certificate...

Damien's RPM's for 5.6 do not work with 6.0.

Using the current configuration, POP3 and IMAP users accessing their email from the public side pass their passwords in the clear.  This is bad.

I see this to be a crucial function for SME...
