We were using Squid the way e-smtih does. We wanted to add junkbuster to filter the banner ads and cookies. I edited the files /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/squid/squid.conf so that my changes would not be overwritten. I also edit /etc/junkbuster/config to use /etc/junkbuster/forward. I used the instructions on http://www.waldherr.org/junkbuster/squid.shtml. It might be my firewall script, but I think everything local is open. Any suggestions on how to get this working? Do you plan to offer this package on future products?

I'm not sure what your exact problem is. Is squid not working as a proxy anymore? Or is junkbuster not doing its stuff?

If you have a look at http://www.partyvibe.com/e-smith/ you will
find some information about Fran Boon's incorporation of Sleazeball into the e-smith squid configuration. Email Fran if
there is insufficient information there.

There has been a little discussion on the devinfo mailing list
about this being a future feature. Please submit your patches if
you get this running.
