Title: WAN failover?
Post by: Jim on January 12, 2004, 04:04:04 PM
I was reading over  RequestedDeletion's how-to
"http://www.star-support.com/sme/Linux-HA/SME%20High%20Availability%20How-To.html
And it looks great, I was wondering if theis can be achieved with two different locations?  If not is there another solutions you would reccomend?
Thanks

I too want to do the same thing. I currently have a vpn connection using 2 ipcop boxes. I've determined that I am probably going to just have the data sent over ftp like every 6 hours or so, and then i can manually switch the dns if the main server fails. Hopefully someone has a better idea, if not this is what i will do
