Hello. I am having trouble getting E-smith to install at all on my Dell Poweredge 2200. It uses the Adaptec 7880/7890 SCSI controller. I keep getting an error with "can't find kickstart file in /tmp/kickstart.cfg" or something like that. It does this when loading the 78xxxx driver file. It terminates abnormally and kills the install procedure.
Anyone got any ideas? Have tried with 2 different versions of E-Smith that were downloaded. No luck.
Thanks,

I got around the kickstart error by modifying the syslinux.cfg file on the boot floppy.
I removed the "=cdrom:/images/kickstart/install.cfg" portion of the APPEND ks line of the install section. It now reads "APPEND ks initrd=initrd.img local".
It seems to have installed ok with one exception which I will post in a new thread. Perhaps this workaround can help someone else.
