Title: tzo
Post by: G Sissala on June 28, 2001, 09:38:34 PM
I set up an account with TZO for DDNS for my top level domain and when I set it up on my e-smith server it is requesting that I input a userid and password.  I assumed this was for my TZO account, but their support people said their clients don't use a userid and password, and suggested that I use my e-smith's userid and password (not root I hope).  I've looked at the e-smith screen and I'm pretty sure they are asking for a userid and password from TZO.

Anyone with experience using TZO and e-smith 4.1 that can help clear up what I should be inputing in the userid and password fields?

Thanks in advance.

Your userid is the email address that you setup the TZO account with.  (And the password is the password provided by TZO.)

They didn't give me a password, only a key #, can I assume that this would be the password?

That's probably it.  Try it and see what happens.
