Title: Being able to connect to a PPTP via ADSL
Post by: Olivier on April 28, 2001, 06:30:25 PM
I've got this ADSL account with my provider which needs a PPTP connection.
So it would be easy enough to have this in the Internet access options part.
Especially when you've got a no to little linux knowledge like me...

When interested I have the RPMs availlable which I found on the internet.

Thanks in advance,

Olivier

Olivier,

It seems u have had the same trouble as I have with connecting to ADSL (MxStream); based on your e-mail address.

Could you provide me with the correct information so I can connect my e-Smith also to the bunch of people that already enjoy this fantastic package.

Thnx in advance, Harro

Although I don't have an ADSL-connection to the internet at the moment (will be very shortly). I've been searching for ways to share this connection on my local network. To have E-smith server and gateway make a connection with MXstream, have a look at the site of Hans Cees ( www.hanscees.com ). He made it possible to let E-smith make a connection to MXstream over an PPTP connection.

Have Fun.
