Title: MRTG install script on the web admin page
Post by: Marcus Giles on August 06, 2001, 07:59:03 AM
Thinking from an office point of view, a script built into the web-admin page that lets you build mrtg into your server and auto-magically sets it up for the interfaces you had e-smith install would be a brilliant idea.
If you could also build into the script a way to "re-build" the mrtg settings for when your've had to changed the interface configureation.... (ie. Gone from dial up modem to ADSL...)

Also I believe that tcpdump should be a part of the standard install for us consolers... ;-)

Look at this: http://www.zbox.dk/download.php?op=mydown&did=21

It's like MRTG. It's an e-smith monitor tool for cpu, ram, swap, eth0, eth1, hd, ...

I thing it works fine.

Hi,

Or you can use e-smith-monitor :)

ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/eneo/RPMS/noarch/

Wait untill they update the ftp directory to release 02 (allready sent to e-smith) as release 01 might cause you some problems (it has some known bugs solved in the new release).

Regards
