One of e-smith roles is fileserver. It therefore needs better support for multiple hard drives, large hard drives and concatenation.

Yes I totally agree the one thing missing is an easy way to add hdd's and then move/make them act as file storage for different users/groups.

eg

sda 1    1gb  main program
sda2      1gb main program   raid level 1
sda3      18gb accounts group
sda4     120gb  graphics group
sda5     120gb individual users
sda6 backup tape drive
