Title: Fax Server
Post by: W Shank on November 30, 2001, 01:58:39 AM
I'd like a fax server blade - sending and receiving faxes and routing incoming faxes to email. I really like the product so far. Everyone likes the MP3 server! Good job!

Since the basic purpose of SME is a comm server, integration of Hylafax would seem like a good idea.  Shouldn't be too hard to do and would add huge functionality.

There is a hylafax how-to for 4.1.1 which might help get you started if you want to install it yourself

... but the problem with this hylafax-howto is, that almost all the libs are outdated. Hylafax changed and i did not even manage to get the whole set of *.rpms and libs.

Would be nice to include hylafax directly in installation process - 1 comport normally is free!

Just upgrade the RPMs list.

You can find the good RPM in the rpmfind.net.
Just find 7.1RH (or 7.0RH I don't remember...) RPMs.
