I would love to see better hardware support for this product so that I can install it on a wider range of hardware

Hi,
what is wrong with hardware support.
I have not found any hardware, which e-smith was NOT able to run on. I am running 3 e-smiths now on different hardware, did a few more test installations on different systems and never ran into any problems.

Well my I test a lot of exotic hardware and with e-smith not having a standard kernal (ver 5 anyway) i can't use the standard redhat drivers being as some of those pain in the .... reatilers don't give the source for drivers
