Title: E-Smith command prompt
Post by: Damon Allen on July 05, 2001, 11:57:17 PM
Is there a way to access a Linux command prompt via e-smith. I see by reading it can be done, I have tried to telenet in, but all I get is the login and then the main menue.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. This thing is great!!!

Login as "root" with the same passwd as user "admin."

Press ALT F2 on the linux prompt en login with username root and password ????

or enable in the httP://your_ip/e-smith-manager login as admin en enable on remote access SSH, so you can login with secure shell. (just have to download putty.exe)
