Title: win policies

can SME be a policy server?
if not i think it should be a feature in the next version

I'm no expert in the area, but if you're talking about what I think you are...

We have a program called WinLock Pro for Networks, (I think created/retailed by VisionSoft, can't remember, I'll check if you want) which is basically a frontend for Windows policy-editing. Another feature it has (the "for Networks" version, that is), is the ability to give a server-location to store the policies in. Then, in netlogon.bat (on the server), I simply add the executable - wfncopy.exe. Works like a charm.

But that's only if we're talking about the same thing (:
