Title: oidentd

the oidentd is a indentd which masquarades the ident request to/from clients to the requesting server. this means every client could use his own identd for special apps. and different idents for different users.

Check out the documentation for pidentd in /usr/doc/pidentd-2.8.5/. I think you can already do what you want with a custom template for /etc/identd.masq.

why this usefull feature is not turned on when clean installed.
does a frontend exist?

i didn´t know pidentd was existing on the machine, since i heared oidentd
is the best one. i thought it would be a good idea to use it.
