Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to create an "internet hard drive" using my e-smith server. That is I would like to be able to map a directory from the e-smith box over the internet to a drive.
I am fairly new at this stuff but from what I have read this can be done with WebDAV does anyone have more information?
Thanks

Instead of using webdav (which is very nice) you could VPN into the box and map a shared drive (shared via samba) from the box to your machine. Or if security is not an issue you could just add some settings in the smb.conf file that would allow you to map the shared resource without having to create the VPN connection first.
