Title: Localization possible?
Post by: Michael Shigorin on May 14, 2002, 07:53:56 PM
I'm developer from Ukraine taking part in ALT Linux project (http://alt-linux.org) and wanting to put e-smith to work here. Had anyone done some kind of i18n/l10n on the product (or are these simply taken from RedHat)?

Hi Michael,

We are currently doing extensive work on i18n/l10n. We hope to release a beta shortly. You'd be very welcome to join our developers and translators mailing lists - to join, send mail to devinfo-subscribe@lists.e-smith.org and translations-subscribe@lists.e-smith.org.

Regards

Charlie

At what stage is it at know?

As I'm now setting up e-smith servers for the East Timor government, I'm interested in providing Tetum, Bahasa and Portugese interfaces

Version 5.5 was released at the start of July, with localizations for English and French-Canadian.
