Title: MS Frontpage Extensions
Post by: Daniel Marte on June 01, 2002, 12:16:38 AM
It is possible to install the frontpage Unix Extensions (for Apache) to an E-Smith Server without disrupting the rest of the other web based applications; ie. server console, webmail. etc.?  If so, Have anybody tried already with sucess?

Do a search through the forums and you will find many posts on the same topic. Short answer it has been done by some, but poses major security risks.

Every environment I know of that cares about the data on their servers has outlawed Frontpage Extensions. Not a great idea!
