Hi!
i would like to see a choice somewhere in the /installation process/ to create just a bootdisk for an existing e-smith system.
why? i faced today the following problem:
i use a fairly old system for e-smith which don't support booting from hd's bigger 32gb. but i have two 40 gb disks in it and so boot from the bootdisk which is created when installing e-smith. today, i deleted the bootdisk. and i never made a backup. and i rebooted the server before i realized that.
so i had my perfectly working e-smith server in front of me and couldn't use it because it didn't boot. i had do update the server to come to the point where the installer offers me to create a new bootdisk...

Hi,
Makes me wonder ... cause during installation, there _is_ a specific question about creating a boot disk, and in the manager there _is_ a option to create a boot disk.
Take a look at the administration section in the server manager.

nope, there is an option to create a /reinstallation disk/. completely different thing...
and even if there would be an option for creating a bootdisk, if you can't boot your server, because you haven't a bootdisk the entry is quite useless in that situation... ;)
