Hello.
I have an installation of 4.1.2. It is behind a router and users cannot get to the /e-smith-password web location. This problem is from the Public side. Private side I have no problems.
Are there any specific ports I have to allow on the firewall? 980 is diected to the e-smith server and allowing Public access for administration doesn't seem to help either.
Any thoughts?
Thanks... :)

This not a problem -- it is designed that way. The e-smith-manager and e-smith-password pages are served by a seperate instance of apache, and that instance is only available to users on the local network.

Have your users establish a PPTP VPN connection to the e-smith server. They will then have local access priveleges, and can easily access local resources.

Thank you. That certainly clarifies why all of my efforts were failing.
I will have them PPTP into the server.
Thanks again.
