Wish - when configuring my server's www hostname to point to an externally hosted web farm, I can ONLY enter the IP address of the destination.
In my case, the destination is multiple addresses and what I NEED to be able to do is enter a name which itself resolves to the multiple addresses. I am having some issues using only one of the listed addresses in the 5.5 GUI for configuring a "remote" hostname. I try to enter the name and the form balks by telling me "it doesn't look like an IP address" or words to that effect.
OK, fine, it ISN'T an IP address. If not in the GUI, a pointer where I can auger the name into place?
Pretty please?

This is one of my may WishList items. Having an option in the remote setting saying for example "Use External DNS to resolve this address" with a tick would solve the problem. How this would actually work in the underlying text files I leave as an excercise for the unix gurus!
