Hello,
I search infos about e-smith and quota.. i would like to manage quota on mailboxes and i-bay. Is-it possible? If yes how can i manage it?
I feel as if quota are important on a system, i don't wan that user put all what they want on ibay, and i don't want to have large mailboxes...
How to use quota with e-smith? If someone have a idear or a solution ...

Be carefull with quota! I try to set quota on a test server, but the server hangs at boot.
After editing /etc/fstab and add userquota (you can put groupquota) after defaults.
The partition must be in ext2.
I think you must reserve a partition for your home/e-smith/users directory. In fstab, you assign the partition to this directory with the option defaults, userquota, groupquota.
And you have some modifications to assign quota on users or groups
.... you must read the doc before
If someone can help.... thanks

This function is very useful in managing e-smith disk spaces. Does anyone has solutions? Thanks in advance.

In fact you can found a module in the section module on the e-smith site, this is the path:
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/ and search a module call e-smith-quota.noarch.rpm ( sorry but i didn't remember the path ).
Install the package and you will have a new module that you can manage with e-smith console).
