The ISO of 5.5 to be updated so every time i install 5.5 i dont have to install the updates
-
It is isnt it? I mean I thought I lost my cd so I re downloaded the ISO about a week ago and installed fine, but when I tryed to install both update 1 and 2 I got "These pakages are already installed" type message.
Is there any way of having the update version appear on the server-manager somewhere?

no it isn't updated the unpatched files are installed
that's why to install it you have to run
rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs *.rpm
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot
replace packages means reinstall with new rpm
and the iso is still dated 02-jul-2002 which is the release date of sme 5.5
