In the squid page, it allows to block by DST address "You can create/modify access for domains or IP without any password."
That's great, but can we get an option "You can create/modify access FROM an IP without a password" as this would be very useful
Also, can we have the other existing line re-worded to "You can create/modify access TO domains or IP without any password"
I was asked by a customer why this system wasn't working as he expected, and the answer was simple, he thought it was creating SRC rules, but it was creating DST rules.
I in the meantime will implement my own solution.
Thanks

Shannon,
Are you using one of the Mitel Authorized Blades? I'm a little confused by your post... but that may be because you're referring to something I've never seen before as a GPL user.
Thanks,

Hey Abe, thanks for replying to me.
It was the latest RPM (blade?) anyway, I can email you my mod to it if that
helps you understand what I'm talking about?
Regards.

Shannon Wynter, I have in possession a modification for the Squid Proxy Users rpm available at http://www.e-smith.dyndns.org . It changes the wording as you wanted and also adds a source IP's to bypass the auth process too.
I have emailed it off to the author of the original rpm so he can add it into it, but if you want it I can email it to anyone who is interested in it.

I dont have an RPM do give out, just a couple of templates, all you need to do is find the directories in the custom-templaes area, replace the files and then expand the template.
If you dont know how to do this then I wont bother sending you the mod, you will just have to wait until the original author changes his RPM and re-releases it.

I understand the templates. Could you send the fragments?
I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks - jeff
