More documentation provide on e-smith website would be fantastic......an example with expected result would be excellent!!

What sort of info are you looking for? I have been doing extensive work with LDAP lately..... If you are interested pose a few Q's and I will help gladly!

Yo Ashley - feel like writing a HOWTO or FAQ.

I'm sure lots of people would be happy to benefit from all your blood, sweat, & tears :-)

Just the basics to start with such as howto access the address book from a windows system, howto configure the server for the easist use/access by w/s's, etc.

I have some good and bad news for you guys......

I am quite happy to write a howto and put some helpful info together for the community and I have already started compiling this document. Thats the good news, but here is the bad news I am short on spare time for working on this doc. I just purchased O'Reilly LDAP System Administration, which is really nicely written and extremely informative.

Nice folks ;) But only one more question before ending this thread. Have anybody tred to set up RH9 (OK let say Linux Client) to use LDAP authentication??? If yes, please light me up !!!
