I see that the SME 6.0 beta 1 release containts php 4.1.2.
This is an old release (february 2002) and there are alot of security & perfommance fixes since then. PHP 4.3.2 is the current one.
As other packages have been update for the 6.0 release, It would be great to update also php.
Thanks

I wish to see a PHP upgade to 4.3.2
for the sme 5.6 distro. This will allow
me to install the latest version of
php website. As it requires PHP 4.3.2.
And PHP 4.3.3 is near the end of
it's testing phase with PHP 5.0 in
beta.
We be behind the times.
