Title: Webpanel functionality
Post by: gbl on July 27, 2003, 12:38:47 AM
I have tired EnGarde (Community Edition) today.

Th Webpanel is many times better than SME and offers more functionality.
But SME is free.

So I think it is a good Idea to extend the Webpanel of SME to the Standard of EnGarde.

Feel free to make changes to the web manager and submit it to the community for usage.

If you poke around you can find a downloadable edition, same as with SME ... which is not "free as in beer" but is freely available in a form that is somewhat limited in comparison with the fully supported, enhanced commercial version.

Or, if you don't wanna fill out the form ...

How about some instructions on how to
modify SME server-manager.

What's the code base, cgi? php?
anyone know?

having a basic panel template to
start out with so that the panel
looks like it fits would be a
nice thing to have.

Any one have this info?

Thanks.

This has been oft-discussed in both the phorums & on the development mailing list. Use the "search" feature, don't forget to extend it beyond it's default 30 days, and you'll find much (all?) of the information you seek.
