Title: SME 6.0 Final and Squid
Post by: Marco Garza on December 12, 2003, 11:39:00 PM
On the three installs that I have done of this software so far, Squid keeps giving me an error about the local lan ip range being put in the acl localsrc and acl localdst lines.  I went into squid.conf and removed the duplicate ip entries on those lines.  Will try to see if this is a problem in the templating system or what.  Anyone else experience this?

It would help if you reported the actual error message, and where and when you see it.

After doing a fresh install of SME 6.0 Final, look at /etc/squid/squid.conf.  The local lan ip group is listed on the acl localsrc and acl localdst lines twice.  I really can't tell where it is duplicating this entry.

Yeah, I have that too.  I have been looking at
/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/squid/squid.conf/20ACL10localhost, but am unable to see if this is the culprit or not.
