Title: IMP and Twiggi after upgrade to 6
Post by: Doug Necessary on January 18, 2004, 08:39:45 PM
I just upgraded my 5.6 to 6 final and now I have some very strange things going on with both IMP and Twiggi.

IMP has to be refreshed when you login just to get to the first page and when you log out it just hangs.

Twiggi now tells me that I have to lower the number of lines in the list to see them.  I went down from 15 to 1 and it still says that.

I think they are both related to either IMAP or the sql database.  Any ideas?

Here is what my messages log is telling me but I'm not smart enough to figure out what it is.

Password for MySQL-user horde is changed in 6.0 final. I am not sure if that't the issue, but it might worth a try.

Thanks for the info.  Any idea how to find out what it is or what IMP and Twiggi are expecting?

I noticed that horde and twiggi both have their own logins to MySQL.  I have tried to remove Twiggi and reinstall the rpm but it still does not work.  I did notice that it does not clear out the MySQL database.  So if I remove Twiggi and then remove the twiggi MySQL database and reinstall again, could that clear up Twiggi?

Strictly speaking, a post about Twiggi does not belong here.  Twiggi is not part of the SME Server and therefore does not belong being reported as an SME Server bug.  Please refer all Twiggi issues to the main development site, http://twiggi.org.

To answer your question, anytime you upgrade SME versions you need to tell Twiggi what you've done.  This is done in the Configuration/Twiggi server-manager panel.  You simply need to Select your correct Mitel SME Server release.

BTW, make sure you are using the latest Twiggi release 1.10.16-2.  Again, see http://twiggi.org.

Thanks Darrell.  I posted here because it broke when I upgraded.  It was working fine before.  I'm going to try a total reload and see if it works then, if not I will have to research further.

Generally speaking, when you ahve a problem with a contrib, contact the developer.  In this case, that's Darrell May.
